Last week, we at Gröninger said goodbye to Berthold Schaap. Since the acquisition in 2004 by the brothers Frank and Ralph Gröninger, Berthold has been intensively involved in our company as co-owner for over 21 years, alongside Henk Klein and later Joost Kasbergen. Together, we have brought the company to where it stands today.
As of May 23, 2025, Berthold has transferred his shares and is no longer active within Gröninger. From now on, Joost and Henk will form the management team. Over the past 21 years, we have experienced and achieved a great deal together. We are grateful to Berthold for all he has done for the Gröninger Group. In particular, we acknowledge his involvement in the (recently sold) Kärcher activities, his role in marketing and commerce, and his valuable contributions to many internal processes.
We wish Berthold much happiness and fulfillment in what he describes as “a new season in his life.” In return, Berthold extends his best wishes to Henk, Joost, and the entire #TeamGröninger for continued success and healthy growth. He also expresses his gratitude to all Gröninger partners for their trust over the past 21 years.
