Project management

The Gröninger team offers overall project management. But also when it comes to specific phases or subparts of projects, we are the partner of choice. Our professional and experienced engineering team and our technical support partners cover concept, design, implementation and execution, whatever the scope of the project. Gröninger projects range between relatively straightforward design and engineering requests all the way up to large, complex and international turn-key projects.

General approach
Every project can be subdivided into specific phases. In extensive cooperation with the client and subcontractors (if any) Gröninger deals with projects by going through the following phases:

Civil engineering
Renovating and building of a new cleaning installation concerns many important structural decisions. Also logistical aspects play an important role. Our main objective is an optimal working installation that can be used intensively. In order to achieve the best realisation of the project Gröninger provides the civil engineering (sub)contractor with detailed technical documentation, drawings, maps and checklists. The required infrastructure and facilities (e.g. steam, water, electricity, air, emmission management, wastewater treatment, etc.) are taken into account. Over and over the experience we gained in the past decades proves to be of added value in the all the projects we undertake.

Water supply  
In every cleaning installation the quality of the water supplied is of key importance. For example: poor water quality can cause calcification, resulting in decreased reliability and a shorter life time of the installation. Gröninger can provide you with water softening installations that have proven their effect in daily practice and which will extend the life time of your investment. Gröninger also integrates water buffer installations that prevent strong fluctuations in cold, hot and/or eco water supply.

Water preparation and air heating
For the preparation of steam Gröninger provides both high pressure and low pressure steam boilers. This is done in cooperation with selected suppliers. The steam is used for the heating of air and the pre-heating of tanks and other equipment. A gas or oil based central heating system with integrated temperature regulation can also provide for the heating of water. In some cases a connection with the district or municipal heating system is very beneficial.

Wastewater treatment
Several systems are available and applicable for drainage and purification of wastewater streams, for example: fat- and oils skimmers, flocculation units, sediment traps, pre-treatment installations like flotation units, biological and/or physical-chemical wastewater treatment systems, etc. Gröninger takes care of the optimal design and implementation of the system; we do so in close cooperation with skilled third parties if necessary. Durability is very important for Gröninger. We look for effective ways to separate the waste streams and to redirect them to specific facilities, and for example to reuse the water for cleaning purposes. This improves the efficiency and reduces the costs of the cleaning system. For both new and existing projects we make sure that the wastewater facilities are perfectly integrated with the existing facilities and installations.

Emission cleaning / Air purification
In some cleaning processes harmful vapours, gasses and emissions could occur. Rules and legislation concerning this issue are becoming more and more strict. Of course Gröninger takes the legislation in the design and engineering process in consideration. For the collection and cleaning/purification of vapours e.g. so called vapour scrubbers and active carbon filters can be used. Also for this business field counts that Gröninger takes care of the design and implementation of the system, if necessary in cooperation with skilled third parties.
